Energy Diary - EMRA has issued a 41-year production license for AKAL İplik AŞ's Alaplı Cogeneration Facility.
As of August 31, 2024, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) terminated the production license numbered EÜ/12430-2/06120, which it issued to Merinos Hali Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. on February 15, 2024, for the Alaplı Cogeneration Plant, with its decision dated August 29, 2024 and numbered 12837-1.
EMRA issued a new production license numbered EÜ/12837-1/06257 to AKAL İplik Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ for the Alaplı Cogeneration Plant, effective as of September 01, 2024, and valid for 40 years, 11 months, and 10 days, as a continuation of the old one.
The Alaplı Cogeneration Plant, which is located in the Alaplı district of the province of Zonguldak and has an installed capacity of 10 MWm, still continues to operate with an operating capacity of 9.73 MWe.
