About us
Founded in 1973, AKAL İplik joined the Erdemoğlu Holding family in 2011.
In addition to its production in Zonguldak, Alaplı, knitting/knitwear, weaving, and hand knitting yarns are produced in our worsted and fancy yarn facilities in a total indoor area of 168,000 m2, together with the factory in Besni, which was established in 2015.
AKAL, Turkey's largest producer of acrylic and acrylic-blended yarn, is also one of the world's leading producers.
While exporting to a total of 26 countries, 60% of the acrylic and acrylic-blended yarn needs in Turkey are met by AKAL İplik.
AKAL İplik is the leading company in the sector with its state-of-the-art production facilities, in addition to producing the existing qualities in the sector, and its endeavors to develop new products by taking into account the needs of the market and offering price advantages.
